Visited Cheras Perdana on the weekend. The bungalows there are awesome! Huge! Some are 5 storeys! What a huge difference between the rich and the poor when u see those houses!

Time Square

It's been a long time since i last went to Timesquare, KL.

There are many changes in the outlets. Metrojaya was closed, replaced by an IT Centre. While Borders book store is moved to LG floor, west wing.

platinum victory 2 Taman Melati

The PV condo, pv3, pv5, pv6 & pv8 are clustered together at one area. Their PV2 is now launching with 700 units, only 2 blocks, block A & B.

The Platinum Victory condos are located near Taman Melati LRT station, within 15-20min of walking distance. There are no buses from the LRT to the condo. This is prohibited by the developer to prevent congestion at the condo area.

The smallest built-up area for PV2 is 1313 sq ft. Most of the units are sold and the units with the lowest price left is 1313sq ft, RM377k excluding the car park. Buyer have to pay another RM15k for 2 car parks. There are another few units available at RM385k, RM390+k and others are RM400+k (all prices are excluding the car parks). The floor plan design is quite nice as i like that there's a corner that can be made into a study room.

I'm Oh-So-Ridiculous

Everybody apply leave for certain reasons; to go travel, to clear annual leave, to take a break from work, going for dental appointment or other appointment, even going for another job's interview, family matters, going back hometown, attending wedding ceremony etc etc.. and the list goes on..

It was a busy monday. One colleague was on leave, one on MC and another went back in the afternn, MC as well. I joined in the crowd too applying a half day leave, leaving after lunch hour.

my reason? Gotta go back to wait for the gas delivery!
yup, u heard me right, the gas delivery. The cooking gas is finished..& i need it to boil water..& cook on the weekend..& the delivery guy can only come in the afternn. yea.. no kidding..

i know i've been ridiculous. i think it is the most unusual reason for a leave a boss has ever heard.

'hey wait for me plss...' i shouted in my heart as i ran like a mad girl after the shuttle bus. I was just few steps away when it left without me. i watched as it was driven away slowly, moving further and further away from my sight. Having missed the bus, i walked in a fast pace from south court to north court, toward to ktm station.

Great! i just missed the ktm as i arrived at the station. The next train was scheduled to be arrived after 30mins. I got bored and impatient of waiting, and started to pace from left to right, right to left and repeated the movement again and again, oblivious to the stares around me. Those passengers on the wait must be wondering what's wrong with this gal, is she some kind of sick escapee from the asylum? well i'm just a ridiculous person, nthg more than that..lol

'where r u? i arrived already'
cant believe the delivery guy arrived earlier than me! All the delays here and there made me rush like hell once i disembarked from the bus. Again, i ran. This time is not after the bus but all the way toward the condo. Everyone that i ran pass stopped for a few seconds, turned around and looked in the way i ran, wondering what am i after or are there any bad guys chasing from behind. Nope, no worry, i just didnt want the delivery guy to leave after waited for too long; cos that would really cost me an AL, my leave would be wasted for real if he left.

I was gasping breathlessly, felt like a mess when i arrived. Great that he was still there.

I did some floor mopping, washed my cloth with the washing machine and boiled water after the gas delivery. what a fruitful haf day leave huh..haha

It was just 4pm when i was done with everythg. So i went out again, heading to Tmn Melati. Planning to take a look at the Platinum Victory show room that i've been wanting to go for some times. I've always wondered where actually the PV8, PV3, PV5 condos are located.

At the Wangsa Melati Lrt station, i started to walk toward the condo. It looked far away and seem like a never-arriving destination. It took me 15 mins to reach the condo area. Did a lot of walking or running, felt like my legs are breaking.

All the PV condos are together at one area, adjacent to each other. They look nice and comfortable. With convenient proximity to shops such as carrefour express, speedmart, chinese food court, jz to name a few.

coincidentally meeting a friend

Sometimes coincident occasion is a like little surprise, adding colours to our boring-everyday life..

as the ktm train's door opened slowly, i saw a very familiar face. Isnt that ...? before i could continue with my thought, he saw me and smiled.

'Hey, wat a coincident!' I exclaimed, feeling surprised.

So we had a little catch-up with each other at the KFC in Kl Sentral.

It's always good to meet friends once in a while, what's more a coincidental meet.

Singapore Trip

Fri night 24/9

rushed like hell to KL Sentral, fearing that i'll miss the train. It's my first time taking a long distance train to another country. I was racking my brain thinking of any alternatives if i missed the train. what if i really missed it? Am i going to cry? what should i do?..all questions poured into my brain at once when i was anxiously waiting for the ktm at midvalley station. Why must it delay when i need it to come on time? should i continue to wait or should i just take taxi to KL sentral? the traffic is bad outside.. midvalley area is forever congested. When i finally decided to take taxi,praying hard that it's not going to jam, well it jammed so badly that after 15 mins i was still at midvalley area and i thought i was going to have heart attack...haha

What a relief that i managed to arrive before 11pm.

The train is very long, seem endless to me. So excited when boarding the train and the bed seem nice and comfortable. There was a Chinese couple beside my bunk, an Indian guy on my upper deck and few Caucasians next to my bunk.

There was a honk and a whistle was blown when the train departed.

Ticket checked and it was time for a good night sleep. The train stopped once in a while and i kept waking up, fearing that i might miss the immigration check point. It finally arrived at JB checkpoint at 5.45am but we don't have to get down the train as there are officers coming in to check our passport from coach to coach. It took some times for the officers to check all passengers' passport. when we reached Singapore woodlands train checkpoint, we have to alight from the train. however, there was no worry as the train was just outside waiting for us.

Arrived at Tanjong Pagar train station at around 8am and have to walk around 15mins to reach the Tanjong Pagar mrt station.

It was a sunny morning and i started my backpacking trip to Chinatown, alone while waiting for my friend to arrive S'pore from Johor. It was still very early and all shops are not opened yet. Walked around the streets and shoplots and it the weather was getting hot. At 9.30am, i started to take mrt to Bugis to meet my friend. Almost fell asleep waited for an hour at the bus stop in front of the Bugis mrt station. After meeting my friend, we started to walk around Bugis street and bugis junction till noon and stopped at the food junction for our lunch. Another 2 friends joined us during lunch.

It started to rain at noon and my desire to go to the skypark was ruined while my friend's preference to go to the east coast beach was canceled too. So we went to Vivo City at Harbour Front, then had our dinner at Dhoby Ghaut. Rain has stopped after dinner and we were heading to the Skypark at the Marina Bay sand area. However, due to the F1 racing, many roads and pedestrian paths are closed. It caused us changing route after route, trying to reach marina or at least esplanade through different mrt stations but to no avail. Ended up taking mrt tour for an hour! dislike F1 for the first time in my life!

That night was spent at Clarke Quay after the unsuccessful attempt to get to marina bay.


Sun 26/9

Universal Studio, Sentosa!

Took the monorail from vivo city to sentosa island. The monorail ticket costs $3.
For september's promotion, each ticket bought is entitled a $5 voucher for food and another $5 voucher for retail shop. So happy to get discount for my lunch! hoho.. we ate at the food court inside universal studio, and i ordered Bak Kut Teh, $2.8 only after deducted from the voucher.
My friend was quite surprise seeing me order a bak kut teh, as i once said that i don't like bak kut teh or anything with 'teh' in it! well, looks like my taste buds did change as the time goes by..Expert says, one may need to be exposed to a food up to 10-15 times to be familiar with it and accept it. Looks like i dont need 10 exposures to accept it..and i actually really like it!

The whole studio is not as large as i expected. However, it is beautiful...bringing us to a fantasy world. If u dont like to take photos or play any of those games, it may be nothing much for u.

The Shrek 4D show was interesting. never thought i'd scream out loud at the spiders scene, when there's the effect of spiders crawling at my feet. what a fool. think i must have took my friends by surprise screaming at some fake spiders crawl. lol..
